THE ART OF LIVING WORK SHOP
A Workshop was held in Air Force Bal Bharati School, Lodi Road New Delhi-110003 on 23rd and 24th of November, 2019 for the students of our school. Thirteen students from KG to XI standard, have enrolled themselves as participants. The two-day workshop taught the children ”Pragya Yoga”, which aims at enhancing the intuitive power present in each one of our children.
This workshop brougt out wonderful and amazing results with in two days. The miraculous performance by the children was a testimony to this.
Workshop on Artificial Intelligence
The Workshop was held in Springdales School Pusa Road, New Delhi from 4th to 7th Sep’2019 on Preparing Principals and Teachers on upcoming trendsin Artificial Intelligence and curriculum development workshop for classes 11 and 12. It was conducted by CBSE in collaboration with IBM. The Seminar was attended by School Principal MrsSunita Gupta & Mrs Anjali Rawlley, HOD, Comp. Sc.
Workshop on " Problem Identification" Leading to Start ups
A workshop on " problem identification " leading to Start ups was organized for students of classes 9th-12th on 23.8.19 by Mr.Amit Shukla. He spoke on how students need to identify problems that concern them and be passionate about the problem to be able to identify solutions and can have their own start up’s that can enrich and impact the lives of people gainfully.
THE SEMINAR ON POCSO ACT
The program started with welcome speech by the School Vice Principal, Mrs. Mani Shankra, followed by presentation of green foliage by the School Head Boy and Head Girl to the Ld. Judge, Poem recital on ' Little Kite" by junior school children and the seminar on POCSO ACT by the Ld. Judge.The school counselor, Ms. Ritu Johari proposed the vote of thanks.
WOMEN ECONOMIC FORUM- REPORT
On 15th April 2019, the students of Scintillate, Air Force Bal Bharati School were invited to attend the 25th Global Edition Celebrations of Women Economic Forum2019. The current club President Snigdha Mehra, current club Treasurer Naima Pallabi along with the vice – president of Interact Club 2017-18 Nunika Khungar; received an award for “Young Leaders creating a Better World For All”
The Principal of AFBBS, Mrs. Sunita Gupta received an award for Exceptional Woman OF Excellence by Women Economic Forum and she proceeded to give a riveting speech on how gender equality is enforced in Air Force Bal Bharati School and gave her view point on the society today.
The event was incredibly fruitful as the students of AFBBS received the opportunity to meet and converse with various people of excellence. A group discussion pertaining to Youth Empowerment and Gender Equality took place with fifteen female students of our school with our vice principal, Mrs Mani Shankra as the moderator. Following the Group Discussion, Two incredibly powerful performances were. One of them was conducted by Amisha Priyadarshini Dash and Aashi Singh with the help of students from the junior wing. The performance depicted the strength, resilience and perseverance of women. The second performance consisted of an English recitation which was performed by a group of immensely talented and passionate students from the students of the junior wing of Air Force Bal Bharati
THINKERS, DOERS AND LEADERS CONCLAVE
Vice Principal,Mrs.Mani Shankra and School Counselor, Ms.Ritu were invited to attend the Thinkers, Doers and Leaders Conclave on 9.2.19 at Vigyan Bhawan.The prominent speakers were Mr.Manoj Sinha, Hon'ble Minister for State Telecom and Railway ministry,Mr.Uday Shankar, Mr.Arnab Goswami, Dr.Sengupta, Mr.B.Debroi and Mr.Arvind Gupta.
MISSON N-MOLE CAREER-CONCLAVE
A career conclave and knowledge confluence session was organised for students and parents of Classes 6 to 12th on 2nd Feb' 2019. Approximately 40 National and International universities participated in this career fair. A stream selection and career guidance session was also organised on the same day for class 10th and their parents.
Career Encyclopedia was also distributed to the students and parents who attended the career fair.
The event was considered as a valuable and beneficial resource by the parents who appreciated this informative session.
Intra School Activity Physics Department 3rd Dec 2019
On the 3rd of Dec a surprise event competition was held for classes 8 A-F in which 26 students participated. Material was supplied to the students &they were asked to use their creativity to design their innovative cars. Students were given 5 attempts each to improvise their models to bring best results. The making of working car models was followed by a physics based viva vorce

VISIT TO THE MOTHERDAIRY (PATPARGAUNJ)
80 students of classes 8F & 8E visited Motherdairy on 5th August 2019 &learnt how milk is produced, it's advantages etc. and its constituents.
3.5 millions liters of milk is produced in Delhi branch mother dairy. Mother dairy produces also vegetables, oil, ghee, other milk products.
Hundred and ten students participated in Preliminary round Science QUIZ (9th and 10th classes ) in the multi function hall on 1st August 2019. The results of which are as follows:

Chemistry Department Intra School Activity-2019-20
On 28th November 2019, the annual chemistry quiz competition took place in the “Suryakiran Auditorium”. As yearly the chemistry club put themselves in to make the arrangements and the quiz in which the participants in pairs (from class 11 and 12) from all the 5 sadan’s had come down to compete each other in the quiz.
The quiz had 3 rounds:-
- The no negative marking round.
- The negative marking round.
- The picture/bonus round.
It was very interseting to see the audience, our judges Mrs. Reema Malik & Mr. Vicky Ghansela being so keen, helpful and participating fully with enthusiasm.
Everyone was very excited about the results and the 3rd position was taken away by the Arjan sadan. Then there was a tie between the Katre sadan and the Subroto sadan so we had a tie breaker question for them as a rapid fire and the results were that the 2nd position was bagged by the Katre sadan and the 1st position was bagged by the Subroto sadan.
REPORT ON CHEMISTRY POWERPOINT PRESENTATION
On 31st July 2019, the annual chemistry power point presentation making competition took place in the “Suryakiran Auditorium” in which the participants in pairs (From class 11 and 12) from all the 5 sadan’s had to make a power point presentation from the following topic's-
||Subroto and latif
||Hydrogen as a fuel.
||Menace posed by plastic.
||Polymer and nature.
||Future sources of energy and food.
Students were marked upon their:
- Speaking skill
- Knowledge about the topic.
- Ability to answer the cross questions by the audience and the judge Mrs. Reema Malik
- Time limit (Min 6 to Max 8 Minutes)
